RESOLUTION NO. 066
RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA FOR A MINOR REDEVELOPMENT
PERMIT TO REMODEL EXISTING STORE BUILDINGS AT
1978-1998 STATE STREET AND 540-548 ELM AVENUE.
CASE NO. : RP 86-2
APPLICANT: VILLAGE CORNER (GRANT)
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the
City of Cardsbad and referred to the Design Review Board; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code,
the Design Review Board did on the 22th day of January, 1986, hold
a public hearing to consider said application on property
described as:
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Blk 34, in the Town of Carlsbad
County of San Diego, State of California, according
to map thereof No. 535, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, May 2, 1888.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing upon hearing and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons
desiring to be heard, said Board considered all factors relating
to RP 86-2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Design Review
Board of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
?INDINGS :
That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
That based on the evidence presented at the public hearing, the Board recommends APPROVAL of RP 86-2
based on the following findings and subjects to the
following conditions.
The proposed project satisfies all the development
standards and design criteria of the V-R (RP) Zone.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on
the 22nd day of January, 1986, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Commissioners McCoy, Marcus, Holmes, and Schlehuber .
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN : None
2) That the proposed project is compatible with the goals and policies of the Village Design Manual.

uses.
