DESIGN REVIEW BOARD RESOLUTION NO. - 076
A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A MINOR REDEVELOPMENT
PERMIT TO ALLOW THE REMODEL OF AN EXISTING STRUCTURE
GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF GRAND
AVENUE AND CARLSBAD BOULEVARD. APPLICANT: BULLY' S
CASE NO. : RP 86-13
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the Cit;
of Carlsbad, California and referred to the Design Review Board;
and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code,
the Design Review Board did on the 25th day of June, 1986, hold
a hearing to consider said application on property described
as :
Southwest 129 feet of Block 10 of Carlsbad,
in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego
according to Map thereof No. 365.
WHEREAS, said Board considered all factors relating to
RP 86-13.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Design Review
Board of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented, the Board APPROVES
RP 86-13, based on the following findings and subject
to the following conditions.
FINDINGS
1) The proposed project satisfies all the development standards and design criteria of the V-R Zone and the General Plan of the City of Carlsbad.
2) That the proposed project is compatible with the goals
and policies of the Village Design Manual.

3) That the project is compatible with the surrounding uses.
CONDITIONS
Approval is granted for RP 86-13 as shown on Exhibits
IlAll - "C", dated June 6, 1986, incorporated by reference
and on file in the Redevelopment Office. Development
shall occur substantially as shown unless otherwise noted
in these conditions.

5) Approval of this request shall not excuse compliance with all sections of the Zoning Ordinance and all other
applicable City ordinances in effect at time of building
permit issuance.
REDEVELOPMENT OFFICE
6) A block wall trash enclosure area shall be provided to
the satisfaction of the Community Redevelopment Manager.
7) All landscaped areas shall be maintained in a healthy
and thriving condition, free from weeds, trash and debris.
8) Any signs proposed for this development shall be designed
in conformance with the City's Sign Ordinance and shall
require the review and approval of the Design Review Board
prior to installation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad, California held
on the 25th day of June, 1986, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Commissioners, Rombotis, Hall, and Holmes.
NOES : McCoy, and Schlehuber
ABSTAIN : None
ABSENT: None
