RESOLUTION NO. 187
A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD8 CALIFORNIA8 APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF A
PREVIOUSLY APPROVED REDEVELOPMENT PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT A
THREE STORY 271000 SQUARE FOOT MIXED USE OFFICE/RETAIL
STRUCTURE ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE
SOUTHEAST CORNER OF STATE STREET AND LAGUNA DRIVE.
APPLICANT: FORD ASSOCIATE IX8 BEVERLY CENTER8 LTD
CASE NO.: RP 89-8
WHEREAS8 a verified application has been filed with the
City of Carlsbad and referred to the Design Review Board;
and
WHEREAS, said application was recommended for approval
and forwarded to the Housing and Redevelopment Commission;
and
WHEREAS8 at their meeting of March 19, 1991, the
Housing and Redevelopment Commission did approve RP 89-8 -
Beverly Centre.
WHEREAS8 said applicant has requested a two year
extension of RP 89-8 to expire April 2, 1994.
WHEREAS8 at its meeting of April 29, 1992, the Design
Review Board recommended that a one (1) year extension be
granted for Major Redevelopment Permit 89-8.
NOW8 THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED8 by the Design
Review Board of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
2. That based on the request as presented by the applicant, the Design Review Board hearby
RECOMMENDS APPROVAL of a one (1) year extension to RP 89-8, Beverly Centre.

the Design Review Board of the City of Carlsbad, California
held on April 29, 1992, by the following vote, to wit:
