RESOLUTION NO. 103
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMM
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A M REDEVELOPMENT TO DEVELOP A 1800 SQUARE FOOT RETAIL
WITH ADDITIONAL 780 SQUARE FEET OF STORAGE ON PROP
LOCATED AT 2685 STATE STREET. APPLICANT: CALVERT
CASE NO. : RP 87-8
-REAS, the Design Review Board did on the 17th d
February, 1988, hold a duly noticed public hearing as
prescribed by law to consider recommendation of approva
a Major Redevelopment Permit and adopted Design Review
Resolution No. 109; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municip,
Code, the Housing and Redevelopment Commission did, on *
19th day of April , 1988, hold a duly noticed public hea:

The southerly 51 feet of Lot 6 of Seaside Lands, ii City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 1722, fill the office of the County Recorder of San Diego COUI July 28, 1921.
WHEREAS, the Design Review Board has determined thi
87-8 Calvert would not have significant impacts on the
environment and recommends that the Housing and Redevelc
Commission approve a Negative Declaration for this
application in satisfaction of the requirements of the (
of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1980 z
the California Environmental Quality Act -
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all
persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considerec
factors relating to RP 87-8, CALVERT.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Housin,
Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carlsbad as fol
1. That the above recitations are true and correl
2. That the findings of the Design Review Board contained in Design Review Board Resolution NI shall constitute the findings of the Housing l
Redevelopment Commission.
3. That RP 87-8 Calvert, for a retail use with additional storage space on property is appro'
subject to all of the conditions contained in Design Review Board Resolution No. 109.
