I RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT TION OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, SAID ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 2.3 OFFICIALLY SETTING FORTH ITS OPPOSITION TO THE ANNEXA- WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Directors of the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, that the City of Carlsbad is proposing to annex certain parcels of real property to the City of Carlsbad, by virtue of annexation proceedings designated No. 2.3, W€-IEREAS, said lands lie in an area served by multiple water districts, sewer districts and school districts, WHEREAS, such multiple service areas will create confusion and conflict, WHEREAS, said annexation does not appear to be a part of the natural growth of the City of Carlsbad, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District are opposed to such annexation on the grounds above set forth, and that a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
