RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING THE EF-
FORTS AND SERVICES OF JACK Y. KUBOTA
TO CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, JACK Y. KUBOTA has served as general
manager of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT for approx-
imately five years; and
WHEREAS, during the period of service of JACK
Y. KUBOTA as general manager of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT, the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT has ma-
terially increased its scope of operation; and
WHEREAS, JACK Y. KUBOTA, as general manager
of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, has developed an
efficient and economical water operation system for the
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT; and
WHEREAS, JACK Y. KUBOTA has materially con-
tributed to the development of planning for additional
water facilities for the future water needs of the
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
1. The outstanding services, interest, loy-
alty and guidance of JACK Y. KUBOTA, as general manager
of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, have greatly con-
tributed to the establishment and maintenance of a water
operation for CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT to cre-
ate an efficient water agency to supply the water needs
of the inhabitants and customers of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT.
2. The interest, planning and foresight of
JACK Y. KUBOTA, as general manager of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT, have greatly contributed to the develop-
ment and planned development of the water system facil-
ities of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
3. The outstanding services, interest, loy-
alty, guidance, planning and foresight of JACK Y. KUBOTA
for the development of the water operation for CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT are hereby recognized and com-
mended.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of
February, 1972.

by the following vote:
AYES: Maerkle, Carmichael, Engelman,
MacLeod and Kelly.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
