RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT FIXING
COMPENSATION FOR DIRECTORS.
WHEREAS, Section 71255 of the Water Code of the State
of California has been amended; and
WHEREAS, said Section 71255 states that a director
shall receive cornpensation in an amount fixed from time to time
by the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT desire to fix the compensation of a director in
accordance with said Section 71255.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT does hereby resolve as follows:
1. Each director shall receive compensation in the
amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each meeting of the Board
attended by him.
2. No director shall receive compensation for more
than four (4) meetings in any calendar month.
3. A director shall be compensated for a meeting of
the Board if, at the time of the holding of such meeting, he is
on other business of the District at the request df the Board.
4. A director shall also receive traveling and other
expenses incurred by him on District business, at the request
of the Board.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the Board of Directors of said District at a regular
meeting of the said Board held on the 7th day of March, 1973,
and that it was adopted by the following vote:
AYES : Maerkle, Carmichael, Engelmann,
NOES : None.
ABSENT : None.
