HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-11-17; Municipal Water District; Resolution 352RESOLUTION NO. 352 -- .I" A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF A BANK ACCOUNT WITH SOUTHWEST BANK WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT desire to establish an additional deposit ac- count , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT as follows: 1. That CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT establish in its name a deposit account with SOUTHWEST BANK, here- inafter for convenience referred to as "Bank". 2. That the President and Secretary of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT be and they are hereby author- ized to establish such account upon such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon with Bank, and that the funds from said account may be withdrawn on checks or drafts of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, signed by any two of the members of the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT. That the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT shall supply to Bank the names and signatures of the Directors of the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, as they may exist from time to time, by a certificate of the Secretary of the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT and that the Bank may rely upon said certificate as the authorized signa- tures for withdrawal of funds from the said account. The certificate of the Secretary may be amended from -1- -- time to time and the Bank shall use the certificate of the Secretary with the most current date as the authorized signatures for withdrawal of funds from said account. 3. That Bank is hereby authorized to honor and pay any and all checks and drafts signed as provided herein, including those drawn or endorsed to the in- dividual order of any officer or other person authorized to sign the same. 4. That the authority hereby conferred shall remain in force until written notice of the revoca- tion thereof, signed by the officers of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, thereunto duly authorized by its governing body, shall have been accepted by an officer of Bank at the office at which such ac- count is kept, and that the certification of the Secretary of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT as to the signatures of the above named persons shall be binding on CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT. 5. That the officers of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT are authorized and directed to execute any other necessary documents required by Bank for es- tablishing and maintaining this account in accord- ance with the terms and conditions of this resolution.
