HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-12-15; Municipal Water District; Resolution 353RESOLUTION NO. 353 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF DISTRICT FUNDS BY CERTAIN EMPLOYEES BY TELEPHONIC COMMUNICATIONS WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deems it to the best in- terest of the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT to transfer ex- cess funds of the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, as soon as possible, from the checking account of the District to the sav- ings account of the District; and WHEREAS, it is deemed expeditious to authorize certain employees of the District to transfer said funds by telephonic communications. NOW, THEREFOm, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNI- CIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: 1. CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, hereinafter called the "District", authorizes SOUTHWEST BANK, Carlsbad Branch, here- inafter called the "Bank", from time to time, to transfer, in the judgment of the persons hereinafter authorized, funds of the Dis- trict from the Checking Account of the District with the Bank to the Savings Account of the District with the Bank, or vice versa. Said transfer of funds may be effected by telephonic request of those persons so authorized by this resolution. 2. Any one of the following persons, as employees of the District : General Manager Office Manager and Accounting Officer acting alone, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered for and on behalf of the District to execute telephonic money transfer requests as hereinbefore stipulated. 3. The District shall supply to the Bank the names of the General Manager and Office Manager and Accounting Officer, as they may exist from time to time, by a certificate of the Secre- tary of the Board of Directors of the District, and the Bank may rely upon said certificate as the authorized employees to execute telephonic money transfer requests as hereinbefore stipulated. The certificate of the Secretary may be amended from time to time and the Bank shall use the certificate of the Secretary with the most current date as the authorized employees to execute tele- phonic money transfer requests as hereinbefore stipulated. 4. This resolution will continue in full force and effect until the Bank shall receive official notice in writing from the District of the revocation thereof by a resolution duly adopted by the Board of Directors of this District.
