RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that it is
necessary to create a new job classification within the
Administrative Code of Costa Real Municipal Water District in
order to provide for an Administrative Analyst: and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Administrative Code in
accordance with Exhibit 1, attached:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of
the Costa Real Municipal Water District:
1. Section 4.4 of the Administrative Code of the Costa Real
.- Municipal Water District is hereby amended to read as provided in
Exhibit 1.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 11th day of December, 1985.

A new employee shall be employed in the Salary Range for that particular Job Classification. After the successful completion of a six month probationary period, the new employee may be
ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST
DEFINITION
P
Under general direction of the General Manager, to
assist in planning, directing, coordinating and administering the activities of the District.
TYPICAL DUTIES
To perform administrative assignments of a technical
nature. Duties may include: compilation and analysis of complex data; writing narrative and statistical
reports; performance of special studies and projects; formulation of long-range plans for capital needs of
the District; coordination of programs with the public and media; liason with other agencies; and attendance at meetings as a District representative.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Education and experience equivalent to graduation from college as determined by the General Manger, with work in public
administration, business administration, or equivalent,
or closely related field.
Knowledge: Two years of experience in public administration, business adiminstra- tion, or equivalent. Equivalent experience may be
gained from five years experience in water system operations.
Licenses or
Certificates: Bachelors degree from an accredited
college or university. Operator certification (either AWWA or California Department of
Health) would be an asset.
