RESOLUTION NO. 929
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, REJECTING
BIDS AND APPROVING READVERTISING THE CONTRACT WITH
APPROVAL OF ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR RECOATING THE “C AND
ELLERY STEEL TANK RESERVOIRS, PROJECT NO. 95-107, CONTRACT
NO. 3488.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District t
authorized the advertisement for bids for recoating the ‘C” and Ellery Steel Tank Reservoirs, C
No. 95-107, Contract No. 3488; and,
WHEREAS, five (5) sealed bids were received on February 1, 1996, for saic
WHEREAS, all bid documents received from all bidders have been reviewec
the Board of Directors does hereby find that the first and second lowest bids received incluc
the construction of said project; and
WHEREAS, the appropriation for funding needs to be increased to $340,00(
increase of $140,000 from the previous approved budget with the understanding that the
appropriated from the Water Capital Replacement fund.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the Carlst
Water District as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the bids received shall be rejected and the contract readvertis
3. That the appropriation be increased to $340,000.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Carlst:
Water District held on the 26th day of March , 1996, by the following vote to wit:
