2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY
PLANNING COMMISSIOX RECOIVIMENDINC 3 RECLASSIFICATION FRQM ZONE R-3 TO
4 PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.

6 The City Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad does reso
7 as fo1Lows:
8 WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission on November 2
ZONE C-2 OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED
9 an application from GEORGE FREDKIN and ROSE FREDKIN, 2950 Occ
10 Street, Carlsbad, California, requesting a change of zone classificatio
11 the provisions of Ordinance No. 9060; and
12 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commi5;sion did on the 1 (
13 of December, 1957 hold a duly advertised public hearing as prescribe?
14 to consider reclassification from Zone R-3 (Multiple-Family Residenti
15 to Zone C-2 (General Commercial Zone) of that property described as:

The Northwest half of Block 13, Car'lsbad
Townsite, and Tract 94 of Carlsbad Lands,
located west of Garfield Street, South of
Grand Avenue, East of Ocean Avenue and
North of Elm Avenue;
2o WHEREAS, the Commission has found the following facts to exist I 21 1. That the property involved has a high assessed valuation
22 2. That the property is surrounded by C-2 zoning on the No
23 on the East, and in the near proximity on the South.
24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that :the reclassificatic
25 of the Northwest half of Block 13, Carlsbad Townsite, and Tract 94 of
26 Carlsbad Lands be recommended to be approved as submitted;
27 AhiD FINALLY RESOLVED, that a copy of this Xesolution be for3
28 to the City Council for its attention in the manner prescribed by law.
