RESOLUTION NO. 44
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY
PLANNING COMMISSIQN GRANTING A
VARLANGE ON PRCPERTY LEGALLY
DESCRIBED AS LCT 20, BLOCK "P'l,
PAUSADES MAP NC. 1747.
WHEREAS, W. R. and I. M. HILL, did apply for a variance t
reduction in lot width from 60 feet to 52.17 feet, on property legally d
as Lot 20, Block "P", Palisades Map No. 1747; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did publish
legal notice of hearing on November 28, 1957, of a heariDg to be held
December 10, 1957, at 7:30 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, there were no protests registered by the surroundin
property owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the variance be a$
as requested, for the following reasons:
1. That lots in the surrounding area are less than 60 feet; and
2. Since there are already existing bui'ldings on the property thl
proposed split is a necessity so as to follow said lines as prop05
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
Carlsbad City Planning Commission held on the 10th day of December
by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Fennel, Swirsky, Engelmann, Stringer Jarvie.
NOES: NoDe
ABSENT: Commissioner Baumgartner.
