RESOLUTION NO, 50
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY
PLANNING COMMISSION GRANTING A
VARIANCE ON PROPERTY LEGALLY
DESCXIBED AS LOT 40 o GRANVILLE PARK,
IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.

WHEREAS, CLYDE W. DOWNEY, did apply for a variance to a
reduction in front yard set back from 20 feet to 10 feet, and rear yarc
back from 10 feet to 9.2 feet, on property legally described as Lot 40
Granville Park, City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the Garlsbad City Planning Commission did publish
legal notice of hearing on January 16, 1958, of a hearing to be held on
January 28,. 1958, at 7:30 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, there were no protests registered by the sl;rroundin
property owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the variance be a
as requested, subject to the following condition:
1. That the structure be placed upon the property in accordance
the plot plan submitted;
said variance being granted for the following reasons:
1. That the lots in this area are substandard; and
2. Other lots in the area have been granted variances.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of 1
Carlsbad City Planning Commission held on the 28th day of January, I
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Chairman Baumgartner , Commissioners Fennel, Jarvie
Stringer , Ebright and Engelmann;
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
