HIETD did apply for a variance for r duction of front footage from 60 feet to 17.5 feet on two lots for the purpose of creating a lot split; and WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did publish a legal notice of hearing on April 2, 1959, of a hearing to be held on April 14, 1959 at 7:3O P.M.; and WKEREAS, at said public hearing the said Planning Commission receive the recormnendations, objections, protests and comments of all individuals parties who desired to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the variance be denied as reque for the following reasons: 4 1. If the reduction in front footage were allowed, the Commission w be allowing homes to be built on 17.5 foot easements. 2, Traffic and parking problems would be created in a nice resident area. 3. Due to the present problem with septic tanks, a lot split would detrimental to surrounding property owners. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular xueeting of the Carlsbad Ci Planning Commission held on the 14th day of April, 1959, by the folloeg vote, to wit: .? d e. 0 1.
