The Carlsbad City Planning Commission does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, there was filed with this Comission on June 18, 1959, an plication from Carl L. Lough requesting a change of zone classification under the provisions of Ordinance No. 9060; and WEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did on the 14th day July, 1959, hold a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by law t consider reclassification from Zone R-A-10 to Zone R-l-7*5 of that prope described as: Property located on the northerly side of Forest Avenue between Crest Drive and the northerly terminal of Highland Drive, in the City of Carlsbad, being Tax Assessor's Parcel 1, Book 35, Page 164, of the Assessorts Nap of San Diego County; and MHERZAS, the Comission has found the following fzcts to exist: 1. There are certain characteristics of RIA Zoning and 10,000 square foot area requirements which are not compatible with land development. 2, Properties to the south and west are zoned R-1, 7,500 square feet, so this would merely be an expansion of the existing zoning on contiguous improved properties. 3. Granting this request for reclassification will not be materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the proFerty or imilrovements in the vicinity. 4.
