VARIANCE ON F'ROPERTY LEGALLY DESCRIBED
AS PORTION OF CMLSBAD LANDS, TRACT 119,
MAP 1661, IN TME CITY OF CAKLSBAD.

WHEREAS, ROBERT H. AND JOSEPHINE TALBOT did apply for a variance fol
reduction of required frontage from 60 feet to 50 feet on property locate(

on the north side of Oak Avenue between Highland and Pi0 Pic0 Drive, said
property being more particularly described as portion of Carlsbad Lands, 1
119, Map 1661 in the City of Carlsbad, and being 1303 Oak Avenue; and
MHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did publish a legal
notice of hearing on February 25, 1960, of a hearing to be held on March I
1960, at 7:30 P,M.; and
WHEREAS, there were no protests registered by the surrounding propc
owne r s ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the variance be approved as rel
for the following reasons:
1. To deny the request would be discriminatory, since there are se.
50' lots already established adjacent to this property.
2, There were no oral or written protests.
3, All other requirements of Ordinance No. 9060 are complied with,
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad C
Planning Commission held on the 8th day of March, 1960, by the following 9
