A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY
PLANNING CONNISSION GRANTING A
CRIBED AS LOTS 42 and 43, GRANVILLE
PARR, ACCORDING TG MAP 1782 IN THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD.

WIIEREAS, EDDIE R. AND ALICE S. VASQUEZ did apply for a variance to all
reduction of front yard from 20 feet to 5 feet; East side yard from 10 fet
to 5 feet; rear yard from 20 feet to 10 feet 6 inches, on property locatec
at 2340 Ocean Street between Motlntain View Drive and Garfield Street, saic
property being more particularly described as Lots 42 and 43, Granville Pi
according fro Map thereof No, 1782, in the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEJiEAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did publish a legal no
of hearing on March 10, 1960, of a hearing to be ’held on March 22, 1960, ,
7:30 P.M.; and
\JIIEREAS, there were no protests registered by the surrounding propert
owners ;
NOW, THEKEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the variance be approved as requ
for the following reasons:
i 1. Granting this variance would permit the best use of the land.
2. Gra-nting this vari’ancewould not adversely affect the comprehensive
general plan or be detrimental to the property and improvements in
the vicinity.
3. To deny this request would be discriminatory, since similar varian
have been granted to other property owners in the area.
