A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY
PLAXNING COPDtISSION GRANTIXG A
CRIBED AS ?ORTION OF LOT 16, BLOCK X,
OF TALISADES AXCORDING TO MAP NO. 1747
IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.
VARIANCE ON PROPERTY LEGALLY DES-
WHEREAS, CLARENCE A, .WD WI,ZEL ROBERTS did apply for a variance to a
reduction of required frontage from 60 feet to 56.69 feet on property lo(
at the East end of Redwood Avenue, said property being more particularly
described a.s portio9 Of Lot 16, Block Pi, of Palisades, in the City of Ca
according to the Map thereof Ho. 1747, and being Tax Assessor's Parcels
and 14x1, Book 35, Page 58 of the Assessor's Nap of San Diego County; 2n1
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did publish a legal nl
of hearing on March 10, 1960, of a hearing to be held on March 22, 1960,
7:30 PJi.; and
WHEREAS, there were no protests regisrered by the surrounding prope
owners;
Nod, T'riEREFOKE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the variance be approved as req
for the following reasons:
1. Granting this variance would allow the completion of development
of Redwood Street.
2. Similar varianc,es have been granted to surrounding property owner;
and to deny the applicant would be discriminatory.

3. There were no written or oral protests.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Ci
Planning Commission held on the 22nd day of March, 1960, by the followin!
