MULQUEEN did apply for a variance for reduction the east side Garfield Street between Cypress and Beech Streets, said prop 10 being more particularly described as follows: 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 That portion of Block Three of Carlsbad Townsite according to Wap thereof No. 775 of the City of Carlsbad beginning at the most Nesterly corner of said Block Three; thence South- easterly along the Southwesterly line of said Block, 80 feet; thence Easterly to a point in the Northerly line of said Block distant thereon 190 feet Zasterly from the point of beginning; thence Westerly along said Northerly line being also the Southerly line of Granville Park No, 2, according to Map thereof No. 2037 filed in the office of the County Recorder of said County, 190 feet to the point of beginning. and ; WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did publish a legal I of hearing on June 2, 1960, of a hearing to be held on June 14, 1960, at : l and 20 21 22 23 TAKEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did hold a hearing 01 June 14, 1960, at 7:30 P.S.; and XHEREAS, there were no written or oral protests registered by the SI 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 ing property owners; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the variance be approved as re for the following reasons: 1. The lot created by granting the variance meets all provisions of Ordinance 9060 of the City of Carlsbad with respect to minimum lot area, frontage on a dedicated street, and lot width at front yard setback. 2.
