RESOLUTION NO, 167
A. RESOLUTION OF THE CAFLLSBAD CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
TO ALICE M. XLHEWi AND VERA C. SINNOTT TO ALLOW THE &T$JLi$WENT OF A TELEPHONE
ANSWERING SERVICE AT 545 TAMARACK AVE. IN
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.
1 WHEREAS, Alice M, Wilhelm and Vera C. Sinnott did apply for a Conditi
6 I/ Use Permit to allow the establishment of a telephone answering service at
7 I/ ~~~~~~~k Avenue in the City of Carlsbad, which is in an R-1 (onemfamily re
8 /I dential) Zone; and
9 I/ WHEREAS, the Ca.rlsbzd City Planning Commission did publish a legal nc 10

hea,ring on June 2, 1960, of a hearing to be held on June 14, 19609 at 7:3c
and
I,JHEREAS, the said public hearing was held by the Ca-rlsbad City Planni
I.3 I/ Commission on June 14, 1960, at 7530 P.M., as advertised; and
14 11 WHEREAS, there were no oral or written protests;
I-5 I/ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Czrlsbad City Planning COm

determines that a Conditional Use Permit shall be issued for the applied
property for the following reasons:
1. That allowing the establishment of a telephone answering service
this location would not be detrimental to the surrounding properties as t
would be no nuisance in the form of noise, vehicular traffic, walking tra
or parking,
2. There were no oral or written protests.
3. This service would be of benefit to the community as there is no
, service at present.
