RESOLUTION NO. 225
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY
PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING
RECLASSIFICATION FROM ZONE R--1 TO
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.
ZONE R-3 OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED
The Carlsbad City Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad does
hereby resolve as follows;
71 1 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 12th day of Septembe
8 adopt Resolution of Intention No. 21, to amend Ordinance No. 9060; and
9 WHEREAS, said.Planning.Commission did on the: 10th day of October

amendment to Ordinance No. 9060 on property described as follows: 11
hold a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by law to consider a1

Portion of Carlsbad Lands, Tract 117, Map No. 1661 of the
City of Carlsbad; being parceLs 2 and 3; northerly 140' of
parcels 4 and 51 the northerly 150' of parcel 7; portion of
parcel 8 being LO'wide and 120' deep on south side of Grand
Avenue, Page 32 and parcel 17, Page 13, Book 203 t of the
Assessor's Map of San Diego County.
Portion of lot.27 and all of lots 28, 30 and 31 of ScheU and Sites
Addition; being parcels 4,5,9,10,11 and 12, Page 21, Book 203,
of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County,
and

1. That this property is adjacent to property that is in the process oj
zoned commercial and would act as a bufferstrip between Ral and (2-2.
2. That a considerable amount of the property under consideration i:
matter of fact, being used for multiple residential purposes.
3. That the property is better adapted to R-t-3 than its present R-L z(
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said amendment to Ordil
No. 9060 is hereby recommended to be approved.
AND FINALLY RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forward
the City Council for its attention in the 'manner prescribed by law.
