RESOLUTION NO. 226
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY PLAN-
NING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING AMENDMENT
TO THE CARLSBAD CITY MASTER STREET PLAN
The Carlsbad City Planning Commission of the City of Garlsbad does
hereby resolve as follows:

WHEREAS, said Planning Commission did on the 10th day of October
hold a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by law to consider a
amendment to the Master Street Plan as follows:
Changing the designation of Buena Vista Avenue, between Pi0 Pic0
Drive and Highland Drive from a secondary street to a local street,
and projecting Las Flores Drive from its present easterly terminus
an intersection with Highland Drive; and designating Las Flores Drir
as a secondary street; and designating Highland Drive as a secondar
street for a distance of approximately 350 feet northerly of the inter
section of Hig-hland Drive with Buena Vista.

21 I/ 'WHEREAS, said Planning Commission has found the following facts .

1. That it would help ease the traffic burden on Buena Vista Avenue
reduce traffic risks to pupils attending the new school in the area.
2. That it would be in the best interest of publi-c necessity, convenic
and safety.
3. That it would be beneficial to the area and the community as a wl
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT said amendment to G,
City Master Street Plan is hereby recommended to be approved.
AND FINALLY RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forwar
the City Council for its attention in the manner prescribed by Law.
