I RESOLUTION NO. 262
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAB CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION RECOMMENDING RECLASSIFICATION OF
AND TO ZONE R-A WITH POTENTIAL "M" ZONE IN
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.
CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM Z0NE.R-1 TO ZONE R-A,
The Carlsbad City Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad does
hereby resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the planning Commission did on the 28th day of August, 19
adopt Resolution of Intention No. 33 to amend Ordinance No. 9060; and
WHEREAS, said Planning Commission did on the 25th day of Septembc
1962, hold a duly advertised rublic hearing as prescribed by law to consic
an amendment- to Ordinance No. 9060 to change from Zone R-1 to Zone pi
the following described property within the City of Carlsbad:
All of that property known as "East Carlsbad Annexation No o 2.2"
in the City of Carlsbad, EXCEPTING therefrom Tax Assessors
Parcels 6, 7, 8 and 9, Book 209, Page 020 of the Assessor's Map
of San Diego County,
which will be zoned R-A with a Potential "MI' zone;
and
WHEREAS, said Planning Commission has found the following facts t
1. That such reclassification will not be materially detrimental to tl
public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in such vici
and zone in which the property is located.
2. That it would be the best usage of the land and would be compatit
with surrounding property.
3. That it is advantageous to rezone before other development of su
ing property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said amendment to Orc
No. 9060 is hereby recommended to be approved.
AND FINALLY RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwa
to the City Council for its attention in the manner prescribed by law.
