LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS PORTION BLOCK P, PALISADES 3

MAP 1747, R.O.S. 3311 OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.

notice of hearing on October 11, 1962, of a hearing to be held on Octobe~ 12
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did publish a leg;
13 1962, at 7:30 P.M.; and
14 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning 'Commission did hold a hearin,

WHEREAS, at said public hearing the said Planning Commission rece 16
October 23, 1962; and

the recommendations, objections, protests and comments of all individua 17
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the request for said vari
20 be granted for the following reasons:
21 1. The lot is substandard by about 400 sq. ft. , and the granting of thf

2. The subdivision was in effect prior to zoning. 23
variance is not detrimental to the substandard lots in the area.
3. The long, narrow lot necessitates a long, narrow building.
25 4. Siikyard and front yard setbacks are conforming to Article 7 of thf

5. There are no alleys backing the lot.
