RESOLUTION NO. 294
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION DENYING RECLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
FROM R-2 TO R-3.
The Garlsbad City Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad does
resolve as foIlows:
WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission on the 29th day of 1
1963 ~ an application by Guy C. and Eunice C. Sensiba requesting a chant
zone classification under the provisions of Ordinance No, ?06Q; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Gity Planning Commission did on the 23rd {
April, 1963, hold a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by law
consider reclassification from Zone R-2 (Two-Family Residential Zone)
Zone R -3 (Multiple-Family Residential Zone) , and on said date did conti:
hearing to May 14, 1963, at 7:30 P.M., on the property described as:
Lot 11, Portion of Block A, Alles Avocado Acres, Resubdivision, M(
2027 in the City of Carlsbad, being Assessor‘s Parcel 3, Book 204,
Page 210 of the Assessor’s Map of San Diego County;
and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing the said Planning Commission rece
the recommendations, objections, protests and comments of all individu,
parties who desired to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED, that the reclassification of :
above described property from R-2 to R-3 be denied for the reason that i
would be “spot zoning”.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND .ADOPTED at a regular meeting o€ the C,
City Planning Cornmission held on the 14th day of May, 1963 , by the follc
vote , to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Davis, Ward; Ewald and Palmer.
NOES: Commissioners Jarvie and Sonneman.
ABSENT: Commissioner Grant.
