HomeMy WebLinkAbout1963-05-28; Planning Commission; Resolution 302I // # 0 I 1 RESOLUTION NO. 302. 2? /I A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING RECLASSIFICATION OF 311 CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY-OF- CARLSBAD FROM R-2 TO R-3. 4 11 5 The Carlsbad City Planning Cornmission of the City of Carlsbad does 6 resolve as follows: 7 WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission on the 30th day of A] 8 requesting a change of zone classification under the provisions of Ordinan g 1963 t an application by Orville C. and Marie Cook Jeffers, and Irene P. : 10 No. 9060; and 13. WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did on the 14th da 12 May, 1963, ho1d.a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by law to consider reclassification from Zone R-2 [Two-Family Residential Zone) t 14 Zone R -3 [Multiple-Family Residential Zone), and on said date did contin 15 17 Lots 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Block I, Palisades, Map 1747 and Por. of B1; 16 hearing to May 28, 1963, at 7:30 P.M. , on the property described as: Palisades No. 2, Map 1803, in the City of Carlsbad; being Assessor's Pa: 18 13, 14 and 15, Book 206, Page 013 and Parcels 3 and 4, Book 206, Page 19 the Assessor's Map of San Diego County; 7 20 WHEREAS, .. at said public hearing the said Planning Commission recei 21 and 22 24 parties who desired to be heard; and .23 the recommendations, objections, protests and comments of all individual WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission has found the follc 251 facts to exist: 26 1 That such reclassification will not be materially detrimental to . .. the 27 welfare or injurious -to the property or improvements in such vicinitv and 28 which the property is located. 29 I 2. That it would be the best usage of the land and would be compatible 30 31 1 surrounding property. 3. That such reclassification will not adversely affect the comprehens 1 32 general plan.
