RESOLUTION NO. 310
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY PL:.ANNINC
COMMISSION GRANTING A VARIANCE ON PRGPEHTY
DESCRIBED AS PORTION OF LOT 12, BLOCK B, AVOCADO ACRES, RESUB. MAP 2027 IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.

hearing on said variance by mailing a written notice not less than ten day

within a radius of 300 feet of the exterior boundaries of the subject prope 95

WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did hold a hearin
17 July 9 , 1963, at 7:30 P. M. ; and
18 WHEREAS, at- said public hearing the said Planning Commission recf
19 the recommendations, objections, protests and comments of all individu:

21 I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the request for said vax
22 be granted for the following reasons:
.2 3 1. It will be a hardship to the property owners if denied as it is a CE

that much of his frontage will be taken by widening of the Freeway.

2. That granting the variance would allow the property owner to cre
larger units, which create a greater value to the City than would require
27 11 of usual setbacks.
28 i 3. That the granting of such variance will not be materially detrime
public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in such vici
