HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-03-10; Planning Commission; Resolution 342, \ I ; : * I) 4 RESOLUTION NO. 342 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY PLANNING 4 COMMISSION RECOMIMENDING RECLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, STATE OF CALIFORNIA FROM R-A TO R-3. 5 The Carlsbad City Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad does 6 resolve as follows: 7 WHEREAS, there was filed with this Commission on the 21st day o€ 8 ' requesting a change of zone classification under the provisions of Ordinal g February, 1964, an application by Kamar Construction Company, Inc. , 10 No. 9060; and 11 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did on the 10th dz 12, 15 I (Multiple-family Residential Zone), excepting that portion zoned R-3 on 14 consider reclassification from Zone R-A-(Residential Agricultural) to R- 13 March, 1964, hold a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by law Portion:of Lot "A" of 'Granville Park No. 2, Map 2037 and those porti 17 Mountain View Drive of the following described property: 16 property located on the North side of Ocean Avenue between Garfield Stre of Ocean Avenue and Mountain View according to Map 1782 in the Cit) 18 of Carlsbad; being Parcel 4, Book 203, Page 010.of the Assessor's M of San Diego County, more .particularly described on Exhibit "A" attal 19 hereto; and 20 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission has found the fo1L \ I 21 facts to exist: 22 1. That it is a continuance of the R -3 zone. .2 3 2. That there is a need around the lagoon for this zoning. 24 25 3. That it would clarify the meandering line which presently exists. 26 4. That it is the best usage of the property. 5. That it would not be detrimental to the welfare of the community. 27 /I 6. That there was no opposition. 28 AND FINALLY RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forwardc above described property is hereby recommended to be approved as subm 29 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the reclassification off 31 the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, for its attention in the manner pj 32 scribed by law, 30 I I I /I !I .
