A RESOLOTTON OF TITE CARLGBAI) CITY PLAWNTNG
COMMISSION DISAPPROVING THE REVISED TENTATIVE MAP OF OCEAN VIEW SUBDIVISION.
”
WHEREAS, the Caslsbad City Planning Commission did receive on Juk
1964, a revised tentative map of Ocean View Subdivision, submitted by
Carlsbad Investment Corporation, owner and subdivider, located on prope
lying easterly of Donna Drive, northerly of Chestnut Avenue , and adjacent
the southwest corner of Seacrest Estates Subdivision, and being a portion
Lot J, Rancho Agua Hedionda, Map 823, R.O.S. 1877, in the City of Carl,
County of San Diego;
WHEREAS, on July 14, 1964, the Planning Commission did consider tE
revised tentative map as submitted, comprised of 23 lots; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did take into consideration the r
of the various City agencies and utility companies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the revised tentative maF
Ocean View Subdivision be disapproved for the following reasons:
1. That the property owners adjacent to this property were unanimou
disapproving this subdivision as it is not in the best planning to have the o
access through Lot 59 in Seacrest Estates Unit No. 2 to this proposed suk
because it will increase the traffic in an area designed for limited traffic.
2. That it appears that it may be an invasion of property rights and dl
restrictions and that it is not the proper use of the land to use Lot 59 €or ,
street opening.
3. The long rather narrow street through one section of a subdivision
ends up into a cul-de-sac in another subdivision is not good planning.
AND FINALLY RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forwardc
the City Council of the City of Carlsbad for its attention in the manner prl
scribed by law.
