A RESOLUTION DENYING APPLICATION FOR CHANGE OF
ZONE ON PROPERTY AT EASTERLY SIDE OF ROOSEVELT STREET NORTH OF GRAND AVENUE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No, 9060, the PI
Commission did on August 11 , 1964, hold a duly noticed public hearing I
consider the application of C. A. and GEORGIA L. RICHARDS for a chan
zone from R-P to C-2 on real property in the City of Carlsbad, County o
San Diego , State of California, commonly known as the Easterly side of
Roosevelt, North of Grand Av enue , and more particularly as;

WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering the
testimony and arguments , if any, of all persons who desired to be heard
said Commission did find the following facts and reasons to exist which I
the denial of the application for change of zone necessary to carry out th

1. That the existing R-P zone allows uses which blend in with the e:
business district.
2. That the rear of the Mayfair Market is the best place to break thl
