A RESOLUTION D.EN.Y:IN'C A VARIANCE ON PROPERTY AT 3455 ADAMS STREET, ON THE WESTERLY SIDE OF ADAMS
STREET BETWEEN BASSWOOD AVENUE AND CHESTNUT AVENU
WHEREAS,, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 9060, the PI
Commission did on August 11s- 1964, hold a duly noticed public hearing tc
consider the application of Harry W. James and Martha B. James for a
variance for the purpose of a reduction in the required frontage from 60*
and 49' in order to create a lot split on real property in the City of Carls
County of San Diego, State of California, commonly known as 3455 Adam
Street, on the Westerly side of Adams Street between Basswood Avenue 2
Chestnut Avenue , and more particularly as: i i

of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering the
testimony and arguments t if any, of all persons who desired to be hear,
Commission did find the following facts and reasons to exist which make .
denial of a variance necessary to carry out the provisions and general pu'

1. That this request does not appear to be in the best interests of put

2. That the granting of such variance will also adversely affect the g

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission
City of Carlsbad that it does hereby deny a variance on said property for
~ purpose of a reduction in the required frontage from 60' to 53* .and 49' in

NOES: None.
