HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-12-08; Planning Commission; Resolution 381t I1 0 e. 1' 1 PLANNING %OMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 381 i ~ A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE ON PROPERTY AT 'THE WESTERLY SIDE OF OCEAN STREET BETWEEN CEDAR AND BEECH AVENUES;' WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 9060, the I Planning Commission did on December 8, 1964, hold a duly noticed public 7 8 9 16 51 real property in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of Califo 12 commonly known as the Westerly side of Ocean Street, Between Cedar and p3 Beech Avenues and more particularly as: hearing to consider the application of HENRY NIAYERS INVESTMENTS, INC,, for a variance for the purpose of considering a reduction in the re- quired front yard setback from 20* to 5'; reduction from 10* to 5* on side yard setbacks; and reduction from 20* to 5* on the rear yard setback on 14 15 3.6 17 18 I Lots 39, 40, 41 and 42, Block A, Map No. 2 The Hayes Land Company (Inc. ) Addition, Map No. 1221; and the Southeasterly 1/2 of Block 7, Town of Carlsbad, Map No. 535 which will be utilized for off-street parking; being Assessorfs Parcel 2, Book 203, Page 221 and Assessorrs Parcel 2, Book 203, Page 163 of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County; WHEREAS, at said public hearing upon hearing and considering the 19 22 make the granting of a variance necessary to carry out the provisions and 21 said Commission did find the following facts and reasons to exist which 20 testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desired to be heard, 25 in the area. 24 23 general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060: rear yard do not apply to this lot. 27 not extend to the mean high tide line and the usual reasons for requiring a 26 2.
