WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and conside

be heardg said Commission did find the following facts and re?
to exist whjch make the. granting of a variance necessary to ca
out the provisions and. general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060:
1, That the property is unusual in that it is surrounded

1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission
2 the City of Carlsbad that it does hereby grant a variance on si
3 property for the purpose of reduction in the required side yarl
4 setbacks on the Southerly and Easterly sides from 10 feet to 5
a reduction in the front yard setback on Ocean Street from 15
to 5 feet; and reduction in front yard setback on the Southeas
corner of the property fronting on Carlsbad Boulevard from 15
to property line on the following condl’tions and limitations t
it be built in accordance with architectural renderiyg present
for the 27 unit apartment house designed by Bryan G. C. Addico
Mr. and Mrs. Ed. ti. Le’ftwich.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
C-n’ty Planning Comrniss?:on held on the 10th day of August, 1965,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Munn, Palmateer, McCarthy, McComas,
NOES: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Suth
and Freistadt.
