A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE ON PROPERTY AT 955
TERSECTION OF GRAND AVENUE AND HOPE STREET. -.._
GRAND AVENUE, AT THE SOUTHEASTERLY CORNER OF'THE IN-

WHEREAS, at said public hearing, ,upon hearing and consider
the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desirec
heard, said Commission did find the following facts and reasons
exist which make the granting of a variance necessary to carry
the provisions and, general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060:
1. To deny the variance would deter the owner the proper
of the land and to require the moving of the existing building
would create a hardship.
i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission

ORTEGA VARIANCE
. That portion of Tract 117, Jarlsbad Lands according to
Map 1661, filed March 1, 1915 in the office of the County
Recorder, San Diego County, State of California.
Beginning at the intersection of Grand Avenue and the
westerly boundary line of said Tract 117, said intersection
being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 34" 33' Eas
140.00 feet; thence North 55" 27' East 50.00 feet; thence
North 34" 33' West 140.00 feet; thence South 34" 33' West
50.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Excepting there from the North Westerly 15.00 feet in
Grand Avenue dedicated 'for street opening.
