CITY OF CARLSBAO A1 AMENDflENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 9060. 4. SECTION 961: WATERWAY ACCESS: Not less than 70. percent in n of the R-W zoned lots i.n any subdivision in an R-W Zone shall direct' access to a navigable waterway. For each 20 lots or p thereof without direct'access to a navi!able waterway, there be provided a boat launching facility wlthin the subdivision R-C\I zoned lot which does have direct access to a navigable wa shall be improved for parking and shall conform to the'requir of Section 1516 and Section' 1518 of this ordinance. "Direct for the purpose of this section shall mean that at least 20 f one-half, whichever is the longer, of a side or rear lot line border upon such navigable waterway. "Navigable waterway" fo purpose of this section means an ocean.inlet or lagoon, or ot of the sea, actually usable for boatin'g; and any channel actu usable for boating and dockipg facilities connecting with an inlet or lagoon or other arm of the sea. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of thc Carlsbad City Planning Commission held on the 26th day of Jul 1966, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Commissioners Smith, Sutherland, F~lmateer, ~ccon McCarthy, Freistadt and Little.
