PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 512
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE ON P.ROPERTY AT 2357
STREET AND INTERSTATE .5' FREEWAY. JEFFERSON STREET, AT THE NORTHWESTERLY CORNER OF JEFFE ..
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 906
Planning Commission did on June 27, 1967, hold a duly notice
hearing to consider the application of WILLIAM HATCHMAN, JR.
ZENA L. HATCHMAN for a variance for the purpose of reduction
required frontage from 60 feet to 44.517 feet on real propert
the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of Californi
commonly known as 2357 Jefferson Street, at the Northwesterly
of Jefferson Street and Interstate 5 Freeway, and more partic
as:
Portion of Tract 2, Laguna Mesa Tracts , Map 1719, more particularly described in Exhibit ''A" attached hereto;
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consid
the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desir
be heard, said Commission did find the following facts and re
to exist which make the granting of a variance necessary to c
the provisions and general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060:
1, That the granting of such variance will not be mater
detriment:aj to the public welfare or injurious to the surrour
properties in the area.
2. That the granting of .such variance will not adverse1
affect the comprehensive general plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commissic

County of San Diego, State of California, a.ccording to Xap thereof No.
1719, filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego.County,
June 20, 1921, lying Westerly and Xortherly of the center line of the
: 60 foot.road conveyed by W. T. Hart, et ux, to County of Saa Diego, by
c deed recorded February 5, 1942, Book 1135, page 75 of Official Records,
in.the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County,. said road being
shown on the Map of Road Survey Xo. 843, a copy of which is on file in
the office of the County Surveyor of San Diego County, excepting there-
