A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION DENYING APPLICATION FOR CHANGE OF ZONE FROM R-A-l0,000 TO C-2 ON PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF EL CAMINO REAL, APPROX- IMATELY 8'00 .FEET EAST OF KEL.LY DRIVE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 9060
the Planning Commission d4d on November 28, 1967, hold a duly
noticed public hearing to consider the application of JAY R.
MARYON D. HOFFMAN for a change of zone. from R-A-10,000 to C-2
(General Commercial Zone) on real property at the Southerly s
of El Camino Real , approximately 800 feet Easterly of Kelly C
and more particularly described as:
Portion of Lot "I" of Rancho Agua Hedionda, Map 823 in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California; being portions of Parcels 71 and 12, Book 207, Page 100 of Assessor's Parcel Map of San Diego County; more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consid'

zone necessary to carry out the provisions and general purpo
Ordinance No. 9060:
1. That the adoption of a C-2 zone would create unsafe
traffic conditions within the El Camino Real right of way.
2. That the proposed zoning does not conform to the Gen
Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Cornmissic
the City of Carlsbad that it does hereby deny application fc
change of zone from R-A-10,000 to C-2 on said property.
