A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD DENYING APPLICATION FOR PRECISE PLANS PP 6708 FOR MARJA ACRES ON PROPERTY 800 FEET EASTERLY OF KELLY DRIVE AND SOUTHERLY OF EL CAMINO REAL.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on hnuary 23,, 1968,
hold a duly noticed public hearing to consider recommending th
adoption of precise plans submitted by JAY F. AND MARYON D. HO
on property 800 feet Easterly of Kelly Drive and Southerly of
Camino Real , being
Portion of Lot "I" Rancho Agua Hedionda, Map 823, in the City of Carlsbad; County of San Diego, State of Californi more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached heret
Copy of said precise plan is attached hereto and designated as
follows:
1. Exhibit "5" - Entitled "Precise Plan for Proposed Re-
zoning" for Jay F. and Maryon D. Hoffman dated Decem1
18, 1967, prepared by Harold Abrams, Architect.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considl
the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desirc
be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to .
adoption of said plans;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commissiol
'the City of Carlsbad that it does hereby deny the adoption of
Precise Plan PP 6708, Exhibit "B" on said property for the fo
ing reasons:
1. That the Precise Plan did not contain sufficient det
' and did not designate specific uses.

2. That the adoption of Precise Plan PP 6708 would crea
unsafe traffic conditions within the El Camino Real right of
