RESOLUTION NO. 563
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DENYING APPLICATION FOR CHANGE
OF ZONE FROPI R-3 TO R-.P ON PROPERTY LOGATED
NORTHERLY OF CHESTNUT AVENUE, BETWEEN HARDING STREET AND INTERSTATE 5 FREEWAY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Ordinance No.
the Planning Commission did on June 25, 1968, hold a duly not
public hearing to consider the application of K. S. BAKER, ET
for a change of zone from R-3 to R-P (Residential Professiona
on real property Northerly of Chestnut Avenue, between Hardin
and Interstate 5 Freeway and more particularly described as:
Portion of Tract 113 of Carlsbad Lands, Map 1661 in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Die.go, State of
California; being Parcels 12 and 19, Book 204, Page 110 of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County; more particularly described in Exhibit I'B" attached hereto;
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consid
the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desir
be heard, said Commission did find the following facts and re
to exist which make the denial of the application for change
zone necessary to carry out the provisions and general purpos
Ordinance No. 9060:
1. That the proposed zone change is not in conformance
the General Plan.
2. That the proposed zone change would not be compatibl

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commissia
the City of Carlsbad that it does hereby deny the applicatior
change of zone from R-3 to R-P on said property.
