PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 605
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING TO CITY COUNCIL CHANGE OF
ZONE FROM R-A-10 to R-3 ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
WESTERLY SIDE OF JEFFERSON ST-ET AT LAS FLOmS DRIVE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 906
Planning Commission did on March 11, 1969, hold a duly noticel
public hearing to consider the application of NATURE CONSERVA
for a change of zone from R-A to R-3 (Multiple-residential) 01
real property on the Westerly side of Jefferson Street at Las
Drive and more particularly described as follows:
Portion of Laguna Mesa Tract No. 3, Map 1719, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California; being an Easterly portion of Parcel 1, Book 155, Page 15, of the Assessor's Map of
San Diego County; in accordance with Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considc
the testinlony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desirc
be heard, said Commission did find the following facts and re;
to exist which make the approval of the application for change
zone necessary to carry out the provisions and general purposc
Ordinance No. 9060:
1. That the proposed zone change constitutes a logical I
of the property being that the surrounding property is R-3.
2. That the proposed zone change is in conformance with
General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commissio~
the City of Carlsbad that it does hereby recommend to the Cit!
Council the adoption of an amendment to Ordinance No. 9060 chz
the zone from R-A to R-3 on said property, s'ubject to the foll
conditions and limitations:
1. A specific plan or deed restrictions shall be filed,
which will regulate building height and location.
2. That the applicant install the necessary ornamental 5
lights and street trees in accordance with the City standards.
