HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-05-27; Planning Commission; Resolution 616I 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 30 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 I i # RESOLUTION NO. 61 6 A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CERTAIN VARIANCES AND THE TENTATIVE MAP OF EL CAMIHO MESA UNITS NO. 5 AND 6 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did rece on April 23, 1969, a Tentative Map, to be known as EL CAMLNO UNITS NO. 5 AND 6, submitted by KAMAR CONSTRUCTION. COMPANY, o and subdivider, located on approximately 40 acres of property located Easterly of El Cami.no Real and also being E,asterly of Camino Mesa Units No. 2, 3 and 4; said property being a portil of Lot J, Rancho Agua Wedionda, Map No. 823, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, more particularly descri,bed on Exhibit "Bl' attached hereto. WHEREAS, the Planni.ng Commission did consider the Tenta Map as submitted, comprised of 91 lots; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did take into consider the report of the vari.ous City agencies and utility companies SECTION I - VARIANCES 1. That Lots 15 and 42, Unit No. 5 shall be granted Variances to permit front yard widths of 30 and 25 feet, and 1 Lots 38 and 39 of Unit No. 6 shall be granted Variances to pel front yard widths of 20 feet, for the following reas0n.s: A0 That. granting of such Variances would permit tl development of four "Panh.andle" lots, whi'ch constitute good use of the 1an.d inyolved. B. The granting of said Variances would not be detrimental to subject or surrounding property SECTION I1 - TENTATIVE MAP NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Tentative Map be approved subject to the following conditions: 1. The development shall be developed in units shown., 2. Complete street improvements shall be designed and constructed as approved by the City Engineer for t proposed streets shown on. the map. 4. Sewer and water lines constructed shall connect to the City systems and each lot shall have an indiyic sewer and water service. Fire hydrants shall be installed for'fire protection as required by the F Department. 5. All utilities within the 1imi.ts of the subdivision shall be placed underground. 6. A fee-in-lieu of park dedication shall be paid to the City. 7. Streets marked A, B, and C shall be assigned names approved by the City Engineert-s Office. A temporal cul-de-sac shall be constructed at the terminus of ''A" street; "B" street shall be "reserved for futul street." 8. Access rights for Lot 41 shall be relinquished to i City and Lots A, B and C shall be granted to the C. 9. The alignment, location, grade and type of all i,mpr ments shall be subject to approval of the City Engi 10.
