RESOLUTION NO. 621
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING TO CITY COUNCIL A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM R-1-7,51
'TO P-C (PLANNED COMMUNITY), ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
NORTHERLY SIDE OF TAMARACK AVENUE, BETWEEN HIGHLAND DRIVE
AND MARGARET WAY.
3 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 9060,
4 the Carlsbad City Planning Commission did on June 10, 1969, ho
5 duly not,iced public hearing to consider the application of RIC
61. E. GEYER for a Change of Zone from R-1-7,500 to P-C (Planned
7/ Community), on real property on the Northerly side of Tamarack
b/Avenue between Highland Drive and Margaret Way, and more partic 9(j described as follows:

loll Portion of Tract 241 of Thum Lands, in the City of Carlsbac
County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map
Assessor's Book of San Diego County.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consider
the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desire'
to be heard, said Commission did find the following facts and
reasons to exist which make the approval of application for Ch
of Zone necessary to carry out the provisions and general purpc

1. The proposed plan constitutes an outstanding use of
the land which will prove an asset to the area and

surrounding properties.

3. The proposed development will provide a type of
living environment which does not exist in the City
at this time, but is desperately needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission I

Council the adoption of an Amendment to Ordinance No. 9060, ch< 27
the City of Carlsbad that it does hereby recommend to the City
28 j the zone from R-1-7,500 to P-C (Planned Community).

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Planning Commission held on the 10th day of June
1969, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Palmateer, Hermsen, Forman, and Jose
NOES: Cornrnlss;oner Little.
ABSENT: Commissioners Gullett and Dewhurst.
