A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
GRANTING A ONE (1) YEAR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A
FENCED HELIPORT PAD, LOCATED SOUTHERLY OF CARLSBAD
STATE PARK AND LIEST OF OLD COAST HIGHWAY 101

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 90 31
hold a duly noticed public hearing to consider the applicatio

That the Conditional Use Permit shall be granted for a
period of One (1) Year;
That there shall be no servicing or refueling operations
at the he1 icopter site;
That two (.2) fire extinguishers must be on the site .at
all times while the helicopter is .present and said fire
extinguishers are to be as follows: One 2-1/2 gallon,
wate'r type, 2-A Rating and, One (1) dry powder'type,. 16
Rating;
A concrete landing pad shall be constructed to adequate
size and, to F.A'.A. Standards;
Parking spaces shall be provided for a minimum of ten ('
cars, and shall be surfaced in such a manner as to prevt
dust, as well as the access area;
The immediate landing area shall be encompassed by a fer
adequate in size to keep people away from the helicopter
while in operation;
The take-off and landing patterns shall be restricted fr
those areas occupied by dwellings and campers;
That a total aggregate area for all signs shall not excc
six (6) square. feet;

cellation for non-conformance of any of the above condil

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Planning Commission held on the 10th day of Sepi
