5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No.

application on file in the City Planning Office.
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and COI
ing the testimonary and arguments, if any, of all persons who
desired to be heard, said Commission did find the following fl
and reasons to exist which make the granting of a Variance
necessary to carry out the provisions and,general purpose of
Ordinance No. 9060:
1. That the granting of such Variance will not be detrimental the public welfare or injurious to the property or improver in such vicinity and zone in which the property is located 2. That the granting of such Variance will not adversely affec Comprehensive General Plan.
3. That the Variance shall be granted only for a gBrage, to br constructed in the location as shown on the applicant's skt Exhibit A, attached.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commis
of the City of Carlsbad that it does hereby grant a Variance c

setback from six feet to 2 feet and, reducing the required dis
between structures from ten feet to eight feet, at 5234 Carlst
