A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF HOOVER STREET BETWEEII HIGH-
LAND DRIVE AND ADAMS STREET (motion failed to carry - tie

WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Title 21 of the Carβ

Municipal Code, the Planning Commission did on March 14, 1972, I
sixty(60.00). feet to twelve and one-half(12.50) feet on parcel I 9
BANGAR, for the purpose of reducing the required frontages from 8
a duly noticed public hearing to consider the application of ROI
10 on property located northerly of Hoover Street between Highland
11 Drive and Adams Street, and more particularly described as:
12 Lot 5, Block B., Bella Vista Map No. 2152
13 in the City of Carlsbad, County of San
14 Diego, State of California.

1. That there does not seem to be any short-range solution to
probl ern.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission
City of Carlsbad that it does hereby grant a variance on said p
for the purpose of reduction in required frontages, subject to
following conditions and limitations:
1. Submit a parcel map for approval by the City Engineer in ac
dance with the State Map Act.
2. Concentration of drainage on to adjoining private property

311 approval by the City Engineer prior to the issuance of any pern
33β1 3. Additional right-of-way (5 β wide) shall be dedicated to th
City for future street widening.

4. A future agreement shall be entered into for street improve
including street lights.
5. Each parcel shall be provided with a separate sewer and wat
lateral.
6. If the property to the west requires the same type of lot 5
to develop, the panhandle will be permitted adjacent to each 01
and every attempt will be made to dedicate a street to service
two properties and eliminate the panhandles at that time. Thir
will be subject to the approval of the City Engineer.
MOTION FAILED TO CARRY at a regular meeting of the Carlsb;
City Planning Commission held on the 14th day of March, 1972, I
the following vote, to wit:
