i CARLSBAD RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ON PREZONING AND REZONING FOR A PERIOD OF

6 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad i

Carlsbad and a general revision to the General Plan; and 8
preparing a plan for residential area,s to be annexed to the Cit
9 WHEREAS, it is necessary to prevent prezoning and rezoning

areas as established by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and il 11
residential areas to the City and on the development wfthin flo
until said plans are prepared and adopted by the City Council; 12
13 WHEREAS, to protect the public health, safety and welfare;
14
and revise the General Plan, then the moratorium should be extf 15
WHEREAS, if a ninety day period is not sufficient tjme to
for an additional ninety days; 16
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
18.the City of Carlsbad hereby recommends to the City Council the
19//of Planning Commission Resolution No.- 815.
