A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS RELATIVE TO A ZONE CHANGE (ZC-101 } ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF ADAMS STREET, EASTERLY OF HOOVER STREET, AND
KNOWN AS "HEDIONDA POINT".

a verified application from (COVINGTON-CONINMARK) requesting a change 0'
zone from R-1 (1 5,000) to P-C on property described as:
Being all of Lots 1,2,3,4,5, and"a-"portion of Lot 6, in Block I'D" of Bel 1 avista, in the City of Carl sbad ,
California, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map No. 2152, filed March 7, 1929, in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold a duly advertised Publ-
' Hearing on Febraury 13, 1973 to consider this Change of Zone; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received all recommendations an(
I.4 // heard a1 1 persons interested in or opposed to the zone change, and,

reasons to be-present which in their opinion are necessary to carry out I€i
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find the following facts an(

the general purpose of Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code:
1. The herein described change of zone is consistant with the goals and objectives of the Citys' adopted General P1 an.
2. The proposed change of zone will not be detrimental to the public health, safety and general welfare; ar
22 WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of 1

declared to have a potential significant impact on the environment; 24
"City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972" and has be
25 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the

City of Carisbad that it does hereby recommend approval to the City
Council of the herein described Change of Zone.
