" !i 0 1) PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 872 1 2 3 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS RELATIVE TO A TENTATIVE THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF ADAMS STREET, EASTERLY OF HOOVER STREET AND KNOWN AS "HEDIONDA POINT". SUBDIVISION MAP (CT-73-1) ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON 5 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad did rece 6 dominium project on property described as: * Tentative Subdivision Map to provide for development of a 190 unit con- 7 a verified application from (COVINGTON-CONINMARK) requesting approval of 9 10 11 Being all of Lots 1,2,3,4,5, and a Portion of Lot 6 in Block "D" of Bellavista, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map No. 21 52 filed March 7, 1929 in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County; and x? I1 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did take into consideration the l3 IITentative Map, as submitted, and the reports of the various reviewing I* regulations and the State of California Subdivision Map Act; and 17 Tentative Map does substantially comply with the City of Carlsbad subdivi 16 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find that the subject 15 agencies; and been declared to have a potential significant impact on the environment; 20 the "City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972" and ha5 19 WHEREAS, said application has complied with the requirements of 18 21 NOH,. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the z2 Council of the City of Carl sbad of the herein described Tentative Map, 23 City of Carlsbad, that it does hereby recommend approval to the City 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 CT 73-1, subject to the following conditions: 1. Improvement Plans shall conform to the "City of Carl sbad Engineering Design Criteria and Standard Plans'' except that Adams Street may have a design speed of 25 miles per hour. 2. Dedication of land for park purposes and/or in-lieu fees shall be provided to- the City of Carl sbad prior to the recordation of the final map. 4. Hoover and Adams Streets shall be improved to provic two 12 foot wide travel lanes and a parking lane. The improvement of Adams Street will include a minimum of 5 of dedication of right-of-way, plus additional dedicatic of right-of-way as approved by the City Engineer to prob a safe horizontal and vertical alignment. , 5. The applicant shall provide all-weather access to ar across the public sewer easement of and to the satisfact of the City Engineer. ~ 6. All facilities provided to adequately control drain2 on the subject property shall be maintained by the property owner(s) in perpetuity.
