A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FORTH ITS FINDINGS RELAT-EVE _T,O VA,RIANCE CASE NO. 224, AND
GRANTING- SAID -VARIANCE TO REDUCE. THE 'REAR- YARD SETBACK ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF.5PACIFIC AVE.. AND- EASTERLY OF GARFIELD STREET.
5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Title 21 of the Carlsbad

Municipal Code, the Planning Commission did on March 13, 1973 hold a du'
ten (10) feet to six (6) feet to provide for tandem parking in the 9
JEFFRIES for a variance to reduce the required rear yard setback from 8

REASONS FOR APPROVAL
1. There will be no material detrimental to the publ ic heal thy safety or welfare, or injury to the property or improvements in the vicinity and zone.

3. The approval of said variance is necessary for the preservati and enjoyment of a substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone.

1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of

for the purpose of reducing rear yard setback from ten feet to six feet 3
the City of Carlsbad, that it does hereby grant variances on said proper
reasons as outlined in this resolution.
